WRITING

En esta parte del blog se incluyen todas las actividades, recursos, vídeos, etc. relacionadas con  "writing" (escribir).

Al final de la unidad 1, los alumnos de sexto aprenden a escribir un email contando cómo era su colegio en el pasado y cómo es en la actualidad.

En la segunda unidad los alumnos de cuarto aprender a escribir su rutina diaria incluyendo las horas:

MY DAILY ROUTINE (4º)

Hello, my name is __________and this is my routine.

I get up at eight o’clock. 

I have breakfast at quarter past eight.

I brush my teeth at half past eight.

I go to school at quarter to nine.

I come home at two o’clock.

I have lunch at quarter past two.

I do my homework and study in the afternoon.

I go to the park at half past five.

I have a shower at seven o’clock.

I watch tv at eight o’clock.

I have dinner at nine o’clock.

I read a book at half past nine and I go to bed at ten o’clock.




Por otra parte, los alumnos de 5º y 6º aprender a escribir sobre su familia usando también comparativos y superlativos:

Pautas específicas para el topic “MY FAMILY”(5º)

  • Hablar del tamaño de la familia: My family is huge/big/medium/small.

  • Hablar de los familiares con los que vives en casa: I live with my mum, my dad, my sister and my brother.

  • Decir cuántos abuelos y abuelas tienes: I have got two grandmas and two grandpas y también cuántos primos: I have got five cousins.

  • Decir si tienes o no tienes bisabuelas y bisabuelos. I have got/ I haven’t got

great-grandmothers and great-grandfathers.

  • Decir qué le gusta y qué no le gusta hacer a tu familia: My family likes/doesn’t

like watching TV/listening to music/going for a walk/going to the beach/going to the countryside... 

  • Comparar a los miembros de tu familia usando comparativos y superlativos: My dad is taller than my mum/My sister is older than me/ My mum is the oldest/ My brother is the fastest and I am the shortest.


Example:

I have got a medium family. I live with my mum, my dad, my sister and my brother. I have got two grandpas and two grandmas. I have got five cousins. I haven’t got great-

En este tercer trimestre del curso 2018-19, los alumnos de cuarto, quinto y sexto van a aprender a escribir un e-mail en inglés a un/a amigo/a. Para alcanzar este objetivo, en el siguiente enlace aparecen una serie de pasos a seguir para poder escribir un e-mail correctamente. Esto lo practicaremos en clase poco a poco con el objetivo de que los alumnos se vayan familiarizando con las estructuras y vocabulario.


Estructura e-mail


Para que los alumnos de quinto y sexto de primaria, también se puede incluir a los de cuarto, vayan avanzando en el tema de la escritura en inglés de un modo simple y sencillo sin darle tampoco demasiada importancia porque debemos priorizar la oralidad (escucha y habla), elaboré a principios de curso una serie de pautas sencillas con ejemplos para la creación de pequeños textos sobre distintas temáticas. A cada alumno entregué este guión o pautas para que posteriormente elaborasen su propio texto y me lo entregasen, con el objetivo final de exponerlo en frente de la clase y/o en el examen oral.

De este modo los alumnos tienen un apoyo o modelo con el que pueden sentirse más seguros a la hora de escribir en otra lengua distinta a la suya. En edades tempranas siempre hay que ofrecer un modelo de texto a modo de ejemplo para que no se sientan perdidos.

Iré dejando poco a poco los textos que han ido haciendo y trabajando tanto de manera escrita, como oralmente.


Pautas específicas para el topic “MY PERSONAL DESCRIPTION” (mi descripción personal) (5º y 6º)

 Hablar, en primer lugar, de mi nombre, mis apellidos y mi edad: My name is…my surnames are…I am…

 Descripción física: I have got brown straight/wave/curly hair and blue eyes. I am very tall/short/ medium…I am 1.65 m.

 Descripción personalidad. I am very curious/generous/hard-working/lazy/naughty/careful, but I am not creative/lazy/…

 Likes/dislikes: I like watching TV/listening to music/playing computer games/going online, but I don’t like playing football/basketball/tennis/ reading comics...


Example:

Hello. My name is Ana and my surnames are Delgado Benítez. I’m 11 years old. I have got brown curly hair and dark blue eyes. I am very tall because I am 1.65 cm. I’m very curious and generous, but I am not hard-working. I like listening to music, but I don’t like playing computer games.

Pautas específicas para el topic “my best friend” (mi mejor amigo/a) (5º y 6º)

 Hablar, en primer lugar, de su nombre, sus apellidos y su edad: My best friend is…his/her surnames are…she/he is…

 Descripción física: he/she has got brown curly/straight hair and blue/green… eyes. She is very tall/short/ medium…she is 1.65 m.

 Descripción personalidad. She is very curious and generous/naughty, but she isn’t creative/lazy...

 Likes/dislikes: she likes watching TV and listening to music/reading books…, but she doesn’t like playing football/going online…

 Extra information: His/her birthday is on 3rd April and his/her address is Street Laguna, number 4. (más propio de 6º).


Example:

My best friend is Ana. Her surnames are Pozo Pozo. She is eleven years old.
She has got brown curly hair and blue eyes. She is very tall because she is 1.65 m. She is very curious and generous, but she isn’t creative. She likes watching TV and listening to music, but she doesn’t like playing football.
Her birthday is on 3rd April and her address is Street Laguna, number 4.

Pautas específicas para el topic “MY PET”(5º y 6º)

·         Hablar de la/las mascotas que tienes y su nombre: I’ve got a pet. It’s a dog. Its name is Mika.
·         Hablar del tamaño de tu mascota: It’s very big/small/medium/huge.
·         Hablar de su aspecto exterior: Mika has got long/short brown and white hair and small/big black eyes.
·         Decir cómo es tu mascota: It is kind/loving/grumpy/friendly…
·         Decir qué le gusta y qué no le gusta hacer a tu mascota: Mika likes playing with the ball/sleeping/eating a lot…but it doesn’t like going for a walk/swimming in the river…
·         Añadir información que nos parezca importante o interesante para hacer la oralidad más extensa y usar más el idioma. Por ejemplo: Mika is fantastic. I like playing with it every day. We like running in the park. I love Mika! (MÁS PROPIO PARA 6º).

Example:

I’ve got a pet. It’s a dog. Its name is Mika. It’s very big. Mika has got long brown and white hair and small black eyes. It is kind and a bit grumpy. Mika likes playing with the ball and sleeping, but it doesn’t like going for a walk.
Mika is fantastic. I like playing with it every day. We like running in the park. I love Mika!

Pautas específicas para el topic “MY FAMILY”(5º y 6º)

·         Decir cuántos abuelos y abuelas tienes: I have got two grandmas and two grandpas y también cuántos primos: I have got five cousins.
·         Decir si tienes o no tienes bisabuelas y bisabuelos. I have got/ I haven’t got great-grandmothers and great-grandfathers.
·         Decir qué le gusta y qué no le gusta hacer a tu familia: My family likes/they don’t like watching TV, listening to music/going for a walk/going to the beach/going to the countryside…
·         Añadir información que nos parezca importante o interesante para hacer la oralidad más extensa y usar más el idioma. Por ejemplo: In my opinion, my family is fantastic because they are funny/nice… and we organize dinners from time to time and have a great time. I like spending time with them. My family is the best for me. (MÁS PROPIO PARA 6º).

Example:

I have got a medium family. I live with my mum, my dad, my sister and my brother. I have got two grandpas and two grandmas. I have got five cousins. I haven’t got great-grandmothers and great grand-fathers.

Pautas específicas para el topic "MY SCHOOL" (6ª)

 Hablar, en primer lugar, de donde está el colegio y cómo se llama y si es público o privado.
My school is in Quintana de la Serena, Badajoz. Its name is Virgen de Guadalupe School. It’s a public school

 Describir el colegio contando las instalaciones que tiene.
My school is very big/small/enormous. It has got three playgrounds, ten classrooms, one music room, one English room, two computer rooms and one laboratory. It has got three big playgrounds.

 Hablar del personal que trabaja en el colegio.
In my school, there are nineteen teachers. Thirteen primary teachers and six specialist teachers for P.E. English, Religion, Music and Special Education.

 Hablar de tu asignatura favorita y lo que más te gusta hacer en el colegio.
My favourite subject is Language because I love reading and writing, but I don’t like Maths.
I like/don’t like my school because it’s big and I can study and play with my friends/because it’s very small/because it’s amazing (fantástica)…/because my teacher Ana is very kind (amable)

Example:

Pautas específicas para el topic "MY HOUSE" (6º)

·         Hablar, en primer lugar, de dónde está mi casa y el nombre de la calle.
My house is in Cabeza del Buey, Badajoz. It is in Plaza de la Magdalena street, number 3.
·         Describir mi casa hablando de su tamaño y de las partes que tiene.
My house is very big/small/enormous/tiny. It has got three bedrooms, one kitchen, two bathrooms, one living room, one dining room, one patio, one garage and one attic.
·         Concretar un poco más la descripción de mi casa usando vocabulario más específico o hablando de lo que más te gusta de ella o te llame la atención.
My house has got a big white door with stairs, an enormous and beautiful kitchen with a big round table, a fantastic chimney in the living room and very beautiful curtains in the dining room.
·         Por último, hablar del lugar favorito de mi casa y por qué te gusta ese lugar.
My favourite place in my house is my bedroom because it is small and comfortable (cómoda). I have got a blue and white bed, a white wardroble, a red table and a cool lamp! I love the posters on the wall!
*EXTRA: Añadir oraciones comparativas y/o superlativas y mi propia opinión.
